Privacy notice

Last updated: 11 September 2026

1. Who controls your information

Vertyk Ltd (company number 17452462), a private limited company registered in England and Wales, is the controller for personal information used to operate Vertyk. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Privacy enquiries and rights requests can be sent to hello@vertyk.com.

2. Information we process

Depending on how you use Vertyk, we may process account identity and contact details; workspace membership, permissions and organisation details; creator profile, public-profile and media-kit information; collaboration enquiries and leads; campaign, offer, deliverable, product and approval records; creator finance records you enter; uploaded files and metadata; messages and review comments; notification preferences and web-push subscription information; custom-domain configuration; support requests; billing identifiers and subscription status; security/login information; and technical usage records needed to operate and protect the service.

3. Payment information

When paid billing is enabled, payments are processed by our payment provider. Vertyk may receive customer, subscription, invoice, payment-status and limited payment-method metadata needed to administer your subscription. Full card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by Vertyk.

4. Why we use personal information

We use personal information to create and administer accounts and workspaces; authenticate and secure users; provide creator/organisation collaboration; operate public profiles, media kits and enquiry forms; process subscriptions; deliver requested in-app, email and push notifications; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; improve reliability; comply with legal obligations; and establish or defend legal claims.

Optional marketing, analytics or advertising processing will be kept separate from essential service communications and will use the appropriate choice or consent mechanism where required.

5. Legal bases

Where UK data protection law applies, our legal bases may include performance of a contract or steps requested before entering one; legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving Vertyk; compliance with legal obligations; and consent where a specific optional activity requires it. The basis depends on the processing activity and your relationship with Vertyk.

6. Public profiles, media kits and enquiries

Information you choose to publish on a public creator profile, media kit or custom domain is intentionally made available to visitors. If a visitor submits a collaboration enquiry, Vertyk processes the details they provide so the relevant creator can receive and manage that lead.

7. Organisations and shared workspaces

Creators, brands and agencies may intentionally share campaign information through Vertyk. An organisation that enters personal information about creators, contacts or team members is responsible for ensuring it has an appropriate lawful basis and provides any information required to those individuals.

8. AI-assisted features

When you choose an AI-assisted feature, relevant prompts, briefs or campaign context may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate the requested output. Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information. AI outputs require human review.

9. Service providers and international transfers

We may use service providers for hosting, object storage, email, web-push delivery, authentication/social sign-in, AI, payments, security and customer support. Providers receive only information reasonably required for the service they provide. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism or safeguard where required by law.

10. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, account and subscription administration, security, dispute handling, backups and legal obligations. Closing or downgrading a subscription does not necessarily delete workspace data immediately. Users can request account closure or deletion subject to legal retention and shared-workspace requirements.

11. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information; restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; withdraw consent; and complain to a regulator. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

12. Marketing and advertising

Vertyk does not sell personal information and does not currently use behavioural advertising. If non-essential analytics, advertising or marketing technologies are introduced, this notice and the relevant consent/opt-out controls will be updated before they are used where required.

13. Security

Vertyk uses measures including HTTPS encryption, password hashing, email verification, optional two-factor authentication, trusted-device controls, access isolation between workspaces, private file controls and audit/security logging. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

14. Children

Vertyk is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Do not create an account if you are under 18.

15. Complaints and contact

Contact hello@vertyk.com with privacy questions or rights requests. Where UK data protection law applies, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
